What's inside a SEAMONE sewing pattern?
You can't judge a good sewing pattern by its photo. You notice it by how relaxed you feel while sewing. Here I show you what you get with every SEAMONE sewing pattern, from the ebook in three formats to the illustrated sewing instructions, and why I build my patterns this way.
Pattern making
Patterns drafted by a professional
I trained and studied in pattern making and grading and worked in the industry for many years. That is exactly how my patterns are made: carefully drafted, graded into every size and with seam allowances that suit the sewing order. So pieces match up, corners turn out neat and the fit works in every size.
The ebook
One pattern, three formats, only your size
Every SEAMONE ebook contains your pattern in three formats. In all of them you can show and hide the sizes as layers, so you only print or project the lines you actually need.
- A4 for your home printer
- A0 for a copy shop or an online print service
- Projector file in large format, optimised for projecting
Seam lines and seam allowances are both marked, so you can cut with seam allowance or trim it off and sew on the line.
Paper patterns are available for customers in Germany: I print your pattern in your size on A0 sheets and post it to you, and you get the digital ebook as well.
Sewing instructions
Illustrations instead of phone photos
My sewing instructions are built with technical illustrations. You see exactly how the pieces lie on top of each other and where to stitch, which is much clearer than a blurry photo of dark fabric. The steps follow a logical sewing order, so beginners can follow along too.
New instructions are available in German and in English. A QR code takes you straight to extras like the sewing video or the size calculator.
Fit
Finding and adjusting your size
My women's patterns go up to EU 60, men's patterns up to EU 74. To help you choose, every product page has a size chart with UK and US sizes and a size calculator. It works out your starting size from your body measurements and tells you whether to blend between sizes.

Extras
Sewing videos, extra guides and lookbook
Many patterns come with a sewing video on YouTube that takes you through the whole project (in German, with English subtitles available). For special cases I write free extra guides, for example how to adapt Limfjord for firm fabrics like corduroy or denim. And in the lookbook you can see how the patterns look sewn in all kinds of fabrics.
