Limfjord is a sewing pattern for women's chino trousers – in sizes 30 to 60, so plus sizes are included too. Sewn in linen, they become airy linen trousers for summer; in fine cord or needlecord, cosy corduroy trousers for autumn and winter. About the pattern

Limfjord are casual chino trousers with a relaxed cut and a clean silhouette. The slightly tapered leg gives them a modern shape without sacrificing the comfort of a loose fit. The straight waistband sits at your natural waist, and the elastic and drawcord inside let you adjust the fit to suit you.

The slanted side pockets at the front blend discreetly into the line. The decorative welt pocket at the back adds a subtle, crafted detail. Limfjord are trousers you'll want to sew – and then never want to take off.

Fabric & sizes

Fabric choice:

The pattern is designed for non-stretch woven fabrics. Linen and linen blends (165–220 g/m²) with a viscose or cotton content work especially well. Woven viscose, poplin and seersucker are also a lovely choice and give Limfjord a more fluid, lighter drape. For the colder months, fine cord and needlecord are ideal. Bear in mind that different fabrics will affect how the trousers fit.
