Mølna is a women’s jacket sewing pattern in sizes 30 to 60 – an oversized varsity-style bomber with a square collar insert, a single welt pocket and ribbing at the collar, hem and sleeves. Sewn in sweatshirt fabric or French terry, it becomes a sporty varsity jacket; in twill or corduroy, a transitional jacket for autumn. A sewing video on YouTube takes you through the jacket step by step.

About the pattern

The single welt pocket on the front adds a subtle, crafted detail. Neatly finished facings and ribbing at the collar, hem and sleeves make Mølna a piece that looks just as good on the inside. A jacket you’ll want to sew – and then never want to take off.

The sewing pattern is designed for woven and knit fabrics and can be sewn from almost any fabric: from sweatshirt fabric and French terry to lightweight jacket fabrics.

Fabric choice:

The pattern is designed for woven and knit fabrics, which makes it especially versatile. Whether sweatshirt fabric, French terry, knitted fabric or woven fabrics such as twill, corduroy or lightweight jacket fabric, almost anything works. You will also need ribbing and an open-ended zip (45–50 cm). Bear in mind that different materials affect how the jacket fits.
