Hålin is a sewing pattern for women's joggers in plus sizes 46 to 62: comfy sweatpants for home and out and about, with a contrast side stripe, angular pocket openings, a back yoke and a split waistband with drawcord. You can choose between full length with cuffs, full length with a hem, or 7/8 length. Sewn in French terry, summer sweat or ponte di Roma jersey. Hålin is suitable for beginners too, and a sewing video on YouTube shows you every step.
About the pattern
Hålin are relaxed joggers with a contrast side stripe and lots of well-thought-out details: angular pocket openings, a back yoke, a split waistband with drawcord and loops, and a side stripe that runs into the hem cuff.
One pair of trousers, three finishes:
- ✓ Full length with cuffs – classic joggers
- ✓ Full length, hemmed – straight leg
- ✓ 7/8 length with cuffs – sporty for summer

Fabric & sizes
Fabric choice:
The pattern is designed for knit fabrics. French terry, summer sweat or ponte di Roma jersey work especially well.
Additional materials needed: seam tape or Vlieseline H410/H180 interfacing, drawcord, thread (e.g. Seraflex for topstitching), 3 cm wide elastic and, if you like, ready-made tape for the loops.

Hålin for women comes in 9 plus sizes from 46 to 62 (L–4XL). For sizes 32–48, Hålin is available as a separate sewing pattern. You'll find the size chart further down this page, with the size calculator right below it to help you choose your size.
