Fyn is a men’s trousers sewing pattern in sizes 44 to 62: a relaxed cut with a straight leg, front pleats, a mock fly and a waistband partly elasticated at the back. Sewn in linen, Tencel or chambray, Fyn becomes breezy linen trousers for summer – full-length or as shorts. In denim or twill it becomes a hard-wearing year-round pair, and in fine cord or needlecord a pair of corduroy trousers for autumn and winter. Fyn is beginner-friendly.

Fabric choice:
The pattern is designed for woven fabrics. Woven fabrics such as denim, Tencel, chambray, linen or twill work especially well. For autumn and winter, fine cord and needlecord are also a great choice.
