Kalix is a sewing pattern for a men’s hoodie in sizes 44 to 60: a relaxed oversized jumper with colour-blocking panels and slightly dropped shoulders. You can choose between a hood, a wrap collar and a stand collar, and the panels are perfect for using up fabric scraps – every piece becomes one of a kind. Kalix is suitable for beginners too, and a sewing video on YouTube shows you every step.

Fabric & sizes
Fabric choice:
The pattern is designed for knit fabrics. Sweatshirt fabric, lightweight sweatshirt fabric and French terry work especially well. Jersey is suitable for the inner hood, and you can also use a woven fabric for the pocket bags.

Kalix comes in 9 men’s sizes from 44 to 60. For plus sizes from 58 to 74, Kalix is available as a separate sewing pattern. You’ll find the size chart further down this page, and right below it the size calculator helps you choose your size.
